Tales of the Texas Rangers: Death Shaft

On November 18, 1941, in the Big Bend land of West Texas, a representative from the bureau of mines is accompanying Fred Blazon into Black Hawk Canyon. There they are intending to inspect Blazon’s abandoned mine. When they enter the mine, however, they discover a human skeleton with a bashed in skull.

Jace Pearson of the Texas Rangers gets the assignment.  When Pearson arrives on the scene it becomes obvious he has a murder investigation on his hands.
