Gunsmoke -- Sins of The Fathers
When Big Dan Daggitt, a kind but rather uncouth mountain man, checks into the Dodge House, Mr. Dobie thinks little of it. However, when he discovers Dan's wife, Rose, is the daughter of Yellow Horse, a Pawnee warrior responsible for the deaths of many local settlers, he wants them out of the hotel.
Matt refuses to evict them, sending Dobie out on a campaign to rally the townspeople against the couple -- despite Matt's warnings of dire consequences.
When the end result is violence, there are lessons to be learned all around.
