It was the day after Labor Day in 1946 when two ex-cons decided to hold up a bank in Live Oak, West Texas. Tragically, the robbery went bad when a shooting broke out.
As the assailants were fleeing in a car, they collided with another vehicle.
When the smoke cleared, three people had died and one of the crooks escaped.
Jace Pearson of the Texas Rangers is brought in to track him down but has only two clues: The man has a bad gash on his forehead and a few gold teeth.
