Dragnet - The Big Talk
A watch salesman from Seattle attending a jewelry convention in Los Angeles shows up at police headquarters to report a robbery. He detectives Joe Friday and Frank Smith that his collection of expensive sample watches was stolen at gunpoint by two men posing as buyers.
When Friday and Smith start working the case, however, they find the salesman's story doesn't hold up. Did he steal the watches himself? Was he working an insurance fraud with his employer?
Or was he actually the victim of a pretty girl he met in a bar the night before?
