Onie Hager has a unique cow: Ida Belle is a swimmer who each year leads herds of cattle across the Arkansas River leading into Dodge.
When Onie and his cow turn up missing, Burt Collins and Tush Lee, two trail bosses who have brought herds up from Texas, accuse one another of foul play.
