Have Gun, Will Travel: The Hanging Cross

A rancher in Colorado Territory send for Paladin in order to find his son who was kidnapped by Pawnee Indians when he was an infant.

When Paladin arrives he learns the boy has been found. The problem is the child speaks no English and many of the ranch hands don't believe he is the kidnapped son.   Paladin, who speaks the Pawnee dialect, is put into service to find the truth -- and avoid a massacre.
