When Joe Pendleton is knocked out in the ring during a prize fight, he winds up dead and in heaven.
The only problem is, Joe was not scheduled to die for another 50 years. Now Mr. Jordan, the resident angel, must make arrangements to get him back to earth.
The only problem is, Joe's body is no longer available. If he returns to earth to finish out his life, it will have to be in another person's body.
