Our Miss Brooks: The Telegram

When Mrs. Davis receives a telegram early one Saturday morning, she is certain it is bad news -- she is convinced it is advising her of the death of her uncle. Not only does she refuse to open the telegram -- she also makes Connie swear she will not open it either.

The only problem is, someone has to open it. Perhaps Miss Brooks could persuade Walter Denton? Mr. Conklin? Walter's girlfriend, Harriet Conklin? Each of them have their own reasons for not wanting to be the person to open the telegram.
