Suspense: The Visitor

When Bud Owen disappeared three years ago everyone in their small town of Edgarton believed he had been murdered. On that occasion Bud and his friend Joe drove to Ocean Isle where they got into a quarrel. Only Joe returned home.  Even though no crime was every proven, the townspeople all suspected Joe was guilty.

When police officer Mac Burrough meets a young man working behind the counter of a diner, he is sure it is Bud and talks him into returning with him to Edgarton and to his wealthy family. But perhaps not everyone is happy to see him.
