Suspense -- The Whole Town's Sleeping
This is an episode that will put chills down your spine. In a small midwestern town, a serial killer is stalking women who pass through a ravine.
The majority of the play unfolds in real-time as we follow our heroine as she walks home one evening in the dark. Imagination running wild, her fear intensifies with each step she takes.
The story is by Ray Bradbury and the radio adaptation is by Antony Ellis. This story may frighten us deeply because it comes close to real life situations we hope never to experience. Agnes Moorehead stars as the heroine and, as always, is outstanding as a woman gripped with fear.
Featuring: Agnes Moorhead, Lurene Tuttle, William Conrad, Paula Winslowe, Barney Phillips, Charlie Lung
